PLYMOVENT FIre

UPPER HOSE REPLACEMENTS
Plymovent would like to announce the release of replacement ST and HT hoses for the Upper Hose packages for SBTA, STRA/VSRX systems. Below you will "nd all of the new article numbers, the system in which that particular hose "ts and a description. Please keep in mind that the SBTA double track systems with HT hose will require quantities of 2 hoses that will be joined by the secondary metal saddle. The SBTA double track systems with ST hose will come as one continuous hose that require cutting for the secondary metal saddle in the desired location, usually centered along the length. For pneumatic Grabber systems we are now offering 150’ and 300’ coils of 6mm pneumatic airline to be used with the replacement hoses. In the following pages, you will "nd charts for the required airline lengths for each system.

Fire system hoses
Mid hose, for use between the metal elbow saddle and upper side of the Safety Disconnect Handle
Exhaust temperature resistance 400°F/ Spike 500°F
Plymovent Fire hose is a proprietary construction hose with an internal spring steel wire helix. The hose comes standard with an external yellow wear strip.
The hose is designed specifically for Plymovent Emergency Response Vehicle Exhaust systems. The materials used in the construction of this hose are flame-retardant thanks to a specially coated fabric.
The hose can handle extraction of exhaust temperatures up to 400°F / 205°C continuous use, when connected to the tailpipe and the fan is in operation.
Spike temperature capacity is 500°F / 260°C.
Independently temperature tested by Gaynes Laboratories (available upon request).

MAGNETIC GRABBER®
Vehicle exhaust removal system
The Magnetic Grabber is a patented vehicle exhaust removal device that through a conical design, integrated magnets and centre self-alignment, provides very quick, easy and controlled connection and disconnection to a vehicle’s exhaust system. This nozzle is used mainly in areas were the vehicle is moving through an enclosed space, like fire stations.

TAILPIPE ADAPTER TOPGRADE
STAINLESS STEEL VEHICLE EXHAUST REMOVAL SYSTEM
The Tailpipe Adapter TopGrade (TPA TopGrade) is a fully stainless steel tailpipe adapter ensuring the most durable and economically sustainable choice for your exhaust removal system. The base material for our conical TopGrade adapter is a magnetic stainless steel. With its good corrosion resistance and high-temperature strength, it is designed for high-end gas-turbine exhaust systems. The TPA TopGrade is compatible with all Plymovent Magnetic Grabber® nozzles, such as the matching stainless steel Magnetic Grabber® TopGrade.
The Magnetic Grabber® nozzle incorporates a self-aligning conical design with integrated magnets that provide a quick and easy “Click and Seal” connection and controlled disconnect from the vehicles tailpipe. The nozzle is used in conjunction with the conical tailpipe adapter (TPA) and is primarily used in stations where the vehicles may be operated indoors.

SAFETY DISCONNECT HANDLe
HOSES AND NOZZLES
The Safety Disconnect Handle (SDCH) is used to facilitate the connection of the exhaust removal system in emergency and fire stations. The Safety Disconnect Handle connects the lower hose to the upper hose assembly. In the unlikely event the nozzle remains engaged as the vehicle exits the facility, the handle disconnects from the assembly to prevent damage to the system. It is designed to prevent the user from having to bend over to connect a Grabber® to the tailpipe; limiting the danger of exposure to exhaust emissions.
The Pneumatic SDCH includes an integrated pneumatic valve, when used in a magnetic system the valve area is covered.

OS-3 FAN OPERATION SYSTEM
The OS-3 control box is an energy saving control unit designed to be used for controlling exhaust fans in vehicle exhaust systems, with or without a particle filtration system. Together with a pressure switch and optional temperature switch, this energy saving controller makes a fully automatic system for the control of the vehicle exhaust fan. The controller can be set for both manual or automatic control of the fan. Depending on the configuration of a system, several options for switches and remote start functions are available. The two most common types of switches that are typically used are a pressure switch to detect pressure differences in the system when a vehicle is connected, and, an optional temperature switch to detect temperature levels in the system also created when a vehicle is connected.

ES-90
Control Equipment
The ES-90 control box is an energy saving control unit designed to provide start/stop control of an exhaust fan. The controller can be set for both manual or automatic control of the fan.
A built-in “delay off” function allows the fan to run for a defined time period after the vehicle has been disconnected, to ensure all of the exhaust has been removed. The ES-90 also includes an optional remote alarm relay connection for Building Automation Systems (BAS).

MRP “MINI” RAIL SYSTEM
We are pleased to announce the official launch of the MRP “Mini” Rail System in North America! This is a dynamic product that will provide you with a mid-level system for both VEX applications and in the Fire Emergency Response arena. Both the functionality and presentation of the new rail system exceeds the quality we have come to expect with the Plymovent brand.

CRAB RETURN SYSTEM
ELECTRIC
(SEMI)-AUTOMATIC RETURN SYSTEM
The Crab Return System (CRS) is a (semi)-automatic system designed for the user to return the crab easily with the push of a button. The crab will follow the vehicle as long as required by the user. The release can be done manually or automatically. The CRS can easily be installed upon your railsystem and will fit either the internal crab system (IC) or the external crab (EC) system. The unit will be provided with a basic manual remote control start set. It is possible to add more remote controls to the system to create a maximum ease of use out of the CRS.

WIRELESS CONTROL SYSTEM
The Wireless Controller Receiver is designed to be connected to a Plymovent control box. This unit is designed to draw its power from the control box and provide a set of dry contacts by which the control box can be triggered. These contacts are activated by a properly wired and programmed transmitter at a distance of up to 500 feet away. This transmitter must be used in conjunction with a normally open (NO) switch, for example a pressure or temperature switch, micro-switch or other such item.

Balancer-300
standard FIRE Balancer
The Balancer-300 is used to keep the exhaust extraction hose from the ground, thereby minimising the risk of damage to the hose and surroundings it also enables easy operation of the exhaust extraction system. The balancer safety chain is there as an additional safety feature.
