Push-Pull Dust & Fume Extraction Systems for Large Industrial Areas
Suitable for large areas where source capture is simply not possible. This system extracts harmful gases and airborne particles and intelligently filters the air using an automated, pneumatic cleaning system. The fan system continues to pull bad air in to be cleaned and then pushes the safe, filtered air back into the workplace for re-circulation. Advantages include low noise levels, low cost of ownership, reduction of fine dust and safely removing clouds of fumes.

The TEV is a central extraction fan that is equipped with a lightweight aluminium impeller, making it suited to exhaust gases, volatile fumes and dust. Matched inlet and outlet areas, together with optimized impellers, ensure even airflow, high capacity and low noise level.
The fan is intended and designed for mounting filter units and vehicle exhaust extraction systems. The fan is rated for outdoor use.

Telescopic extraction arm with balance system based on counterweight. The vertical movement is spring-assisted.
The removable hood has a safety mesh and a shut-off damper damper. The arm is 360° rotatable.
The compact design makes it suitable for use in small welding booths and other confined working areas.
KUA

Ball bearing extraction arm with external middle hinge. The hood has a safety mesh and a damper. The arm is 360° rotatable.
The KUA arm is available in four different types:
• type H: for hanging mounting (wall bracket included)
• type S: for standing mounting (e.g. on a mobile unit)
• type ATEX: approved for use in explosive environments Zone 22; marking EX II 3D (for hanging mounting only)
• type H-D: for hanging mounting, with sealed shut-off damper

The FUA is an extraction fan that is specially designed to remove exhaust gases, as well as welding and other fumes, dust and oil mist.
The fan is intended and designed for mounting to extraction arms, filter units and vehicle exhaust extraction systems or can be used as a central fan. The fan is rated for outdoor use.
Stationary Units
The mechanical DuraFilter® system can be equipped with a maximum of two extraction arms. The SFD is designed for workplaces where dry welding fumes are produced. With its 50 mÇ (538 ft2) DuraFilter®, there are practically no competing products in the same class as the SFD.
The disposable filter cassette was specially designed to filter welding fumes, and its special construction and the SurfacePlus treatment give it a number of extremely exceptional characteristics. For the welder this means features such as strong and, above all, constant power for long periods. The DuraFilter® has a much longer service life than a traditional filter cassette, an aspect which drastically reduces the cost of operation. These attributes make the SFD stationary welding fume extraction system a reliable and economical choice forremoval of welding fumes from your workplace.
MOBILEPRO
Self-cleaning fume extractor for the professional welder
The MobilePro is a welding fume extractor for professional welders that need a flexible solution. Plymovent’s mobile filter units are designed to remove welding fumes on-site in confined spaces and spaces that are difficult to reach by fixed welding fume extraction systems, for example in the middle of a workshop or reversely, in an outer corner of a facility. This stabile mobile unit has an ergonomic handgrip and has four wheels, of which two swivel casters, to facilitate easy movement. The MobilePro is suitable for many welding applications such as MIG, MAG, TIG, GMAW, FCAW and stick electrode welding. Naturally Plymovent’s extraction arms, the 3 and 4 meter KUA and Economy Arm, can be attached to the MobilePro to reach the required length.

The extraction hood of Plymovent, FlexHood, has been designed to
isolate a welding/cutting workplace. This can either be a robotic machine or a workbench/workshop.

that the working environment stays clean from lingering welding fumes. Additionally it ensures that sparks and spatter stay inside the hood, protecting people working nearby.
Extraction arms
The most effective way to remove welding fumes
Extraction arms are –by far– the most effective way to remove fumes from welding, cutting and grinding processes.
Plymovent offers various products for the removal of fumes at the
source, like downdraft and backdraft workbenches, stationary and mobile filtration units.
Extraction arms are also part of the category source extraction, as an
extraction arm can be placed in a certain position near the actual
welding process. Only near the source, fumes can be captured and
extracted directly into the extraction arm.
Diluter system
A standalone general welding fume filtration system with a new integrated control system
The Diluter system is a stand alone general filtration system, developed to reduce and control the background concentration of welding fumes in a workshop. It makes sure that legal limits for welding fumes are not exceeded.
Diluter systems are the ideal solution if source extraction and hoods are not an option, for example when large work pieces are being fabricated, various welding processes take place at changing locations or when ductwork is difficult to install.
